Time Out Tuesdays: Link Up Your Giveaways

It's time for a homeschooling edition of Time Out Tuesdays.  I hope this finds you well and having a wonderful day.  I am so tired that I think I could sleep for hours, but I'm up and at 'em.  Don't forget to link up your giveaways below.:)

Mom, Reinvented has a great post on Learning Through Living.

If your children are studying about nature or birds, then they might be interested in The Great Backyard Bird Count

Heart of the Matter is a wonderful homeschool blog with tons of great articles and resources, including a recent article on School Organization for Everyday.  They even have a forum that you can chat it up in and connect with other homeschool moms and dads.

Meet Me at the Corner is a site filled with virtual field trips for kids; it helps to bring lessons alive for them.

When I was a little girl, my mom used to get paper dolls for me to play with; they were so much fun.  You can find free historic paper dolls for your little ones on Paper Dali.  That's not all, though.  Check out these sites for more paper dolls: Marilee's Paper Dolls Page, Paper Dolls!, and Be My Paper Doll Valentine (my personal favorite, as you can find paper dolls for Strawberry Shortcake and others).

I also found the motherload of free unit studies over at Homeschool Share; you can even submit yours.  How cool is that?

Lastly, if you're researching curriculum, Curriculum Choice might be a good place for you to find reviews written by real homeschoolers.  They also have a couple of great articles on Socialization and Homeschooling Without Feeling Overwhelmed.

Ok, now it's your turn to sign Mr. Linky with all of your wonderful giveaways/contests.  Have a wonderful week!

Homeschool Edition: Time Out Tuesdays- Link Up Your Giveaways

This Time Out Tuesdays is dedicated to homeschoolers everywhere. Grab that cup o' hot cocoa (or coffee), and settle in for just a few minutes to feed and refresh your mind and soul, Mamas.  Have a happy day!  Oh, and don't forget to link up your giveaways below!

I've recommended the book, The Well-Trained Mind, before, but now I'm recommending The Well-Trained Mind Forums, a place you can go to talk with other like-minded homeschoolers and maybe even get your questions answered.

A new homeschooling blogger I've found is Roscommon Acres, who also has an article concerning her thoughts on talking to her children about Haiti, Of Haiti and Homeschooling.

The Homeschool Classroom is another great blog with topics from Organization and Planning to Enrichment to Subject Matter to Methods and Systems to Faith and Family.

Our Lifestyle of Learning is a homeschooling community dedicated to encouraging you and helping you find balance in your day.

Deep Space Sparkle has art lessons, even listed according to grade level.

Project Gutenberg is a site where you can find all kinds of free, downloadable literature; they even have the McGuffey Readers

If you're learning about the solar system and all things astronomy, as we are right now, you might find this Solar System coloring book very cool.

Sprittibee is an awesome blog, and she has written up My Big-FAT Homeschool Links List, where you're sure to find so many great resources.  I'll let you check them out for yourself.
Just Call Me Jamin is a homeschool blog with tons of great helps and resources; check out her sidebar for all kinds of ideas.  You can also check out Jamin's Freebies from The Old Schoolhouse; every week, she compiles freebies together for homeschoolers everywhere.  It's a great resource.

That about does it for this week.  Two weeks from now, we'll have more great homeschool resources for you.  Now, list your giveaways!
