Tempt My Tummy Tuesdays- Rainy Day Chowder

With spring showers upon us, this chowder just hit the spot and instantly became a family favorite....enjoy!:)

Rainy Day Potato Veggie Chowder

4-6 potatoes, depending on size of your family
1 bag frozen corn
1 onion, chopped
Couple handfuls of baby carrots, chopped
2 tsp chicken bullion granules
2 turkey sausage links, chopped
1 to 1 1/2 cups milk
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Peel and cube potatoes, and put in large saucepan or Dutch oven pan; cover with water. Add corn and onion and carrots, making sure there is enough water for all, and boil. As it boils, add the chicken bullion, and let dissolve; then add chopped sausages. Let simmer until potatoes are soft. Use potato masher to crush up potatoes and carrots somewhat. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Then add milk, and let simmer just until heated through. Makes a great chowder soup to just warm you up inside.
